Sunday School & Children's Messages
We fully embrace and welcome children of all ages to join us in worship, and we seek to provide elements of worship so that they feel included in our church family. A variety of our Christian Education programs seek to support this mission, but Sunday School and children's messages specifically target our youngest attendees.
Children's Message
On select Sundays, typically aligning with Sunday School weeks, we offer a children's message during worship to relate the Bible stories of the week to our youngest attendees.
Children's messages are led by both our pastor and lay leaders who have a passion for working with children.
Check our calendar and weekly bulletin postings to find out more about the schedule for children's messages.

Monthly Classes
An active group of volunteers organize activities, lessons, Bible stories, and opportunities to engage the Sunday School kids (ages 3 to 12). The kids start the worship service in the sanctuary with their families, and leave part way through the service with the Sunday School teachers to head to their classroom. After the worship service ends, parents must head downstairs to the Sunday School classrooms to pick up their kid(s).
We greatly appreciate all the time and effort of our Sunday School volunteers including:
Debbie Shaffer
Gloria Romig
Janice Hoffmaster, Director
Jeri Reckley
Nickie Littlefield
Veronica Schoellkopf

Special Programs
The Sunday School program annually organizes a live, youth nativity scene as part of the worship schedule in the season of advent. A script is prepared and roles are cast to demonstrate the story of Jesus' birth while having a little fun!
This year's Christmas program will be offered on Sunday, December 22nd, 2024 during the worship service.
